As a Napa Valley native I arrived to the region in 1969 at the age of 6 when about 40 wineries were in existence. Today there are over 500 wineries in the Napa Valley and lots of things to do! Since I was old enough to enjoy wine legally I have learning about wines and the history of the valley by working in the wine business. A few winery names where I have worked that you might be familiar with include Cuvaison, Mumm Napa, St. Clement, Sequoia Grove, Chateau Montelena Winery, Charles Krug Winery, and Silver Oak Cellars where I have learned much about vineyards, winemaking, tasting and tours and more!
